Medium: Engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Soft vertical crease. Paper slightly browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Printed from 2 plates: portrait and decorative border. Published in France by H. Bonnard c. 1680. Rare.

Biography engraver: Henri Bonnart, a French painter and engraver, was the brother of Robert, Jean Baptiste, and Nicolas Bonnart. He was born in Paris in 1642, became rector of the Academy of St. Luke, and died in Paris in 1711.
