Made by ‘D. Sluyter’ after ‘A. & B. Geb. S. ‘. Dirk Jurriaan Sluyter (1811-1886) was a Dutch etcher, engraver and draughtsman. Jacobus Boelen Jhz. (1791-1876) was a decorated marine officer most of his life in French and Dutch service. During a leaf of absence he undertook some large voyages on a merchant ship and recorded these in the described work.

Condition: Good, given age. Light ghosting. Paper edges browned. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
