Original antique military map showing the Battle of Marengo on 14 June 1800 between French forces under the First Consul Napoleon Bonaparte and Austrian forces near the city of Alessandria, in Piedmont, Italy. With a flipover map covering a stage of the battle and flipover text at the left side.

Engraving / etching on hand-laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 42 x 25.5 cm (16.54 x 10.04 inch). Image size: 39.9 x 20 cm. (15.71 x 7.87 inch).
Condition: very good, given age. Vertical fold as issued. Crease at bottom right. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
