Psittaces minor capite gulaque aurantiis. Auranzenkopf – (Green Parrot species). Green parrot with a red throat. This item is in fact a curiosity as it is in reversed from the illustration from this famous natural history book. Manuscript writing is very similar. Linework is partly etched but much of it hand drawn. As such we assume this is a proof for the ultimate plate used in the book. Extremely rare.
