Etching / engraving on hand laid (verge) paper.
Sheet size: 12,8 x 18,5 cm. (5 x 7,3 inch). Image size: 11 x 16,8 cm. (4,3 x 6,6 inch).

Published in The Netherlands, dated 1791.

Made by ‘Reinier Vinkeles’ after an anonymous artist. Reinier Vinkeles (Amsterdam; 1741-1816), was an 18th-century painter and engraver from the Northern Netherlands, who was the later teacher of several talented artists. He studied for some ten years with Jan Punt and joined the Amsterdam Stadstekenacademie.

Condition: Good, given age. Some minor crinkles. A few tiny spots. Attached to carrier sheet. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
