Made by Matthias Greuter after Joannes Baptista Savernier. Matthaeus Greuter (active first half of the 17th. Century) originated from Strasbourg. He worked in Rome and Venice. Joannes Baptista Savernier was a Belgian artist active in the 16-17th.c possibly from Liege / Luik as this engraving mentions ‘Leodien’ at bottom left.

Condition: Very good, given age. Partly remargined for framing purposes General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
