Made by Jonas Suyderhoef after Adriaen Brouwer. Jonas Suyderhoef (Dutch; ca. 1613-1686) was a Dutch engraver from Leiden. He worked in Haarlem. He produced highly finished engravings often in collaboration with his tutor Soutman. He specialized mostly in portraits. Adriaen Brouwer (1605-1638) was a Flemish genre painter, active in Flanders and the Dutch Republic. Already during his life he was famous for his genre pieces.

Condition: Fair, given age. No margins, texcaption missing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
