Drypoint etching new year’s wish (Happy 1977, from my new canal house in Haarlem). It shows a man fishing at canalside with a few houses in the background.
Drypoint etching on wove (vellin) paper.
Sheet size: 9,3 x 15,3 cm. Image size: 8,6 x 14 cm.
Signed in pencil below the plate.
Made by ‘Evert van Hemert’ after own design. Evert van Hemert (Haarlem, 1952 – ) is an autodidact Dutch artist, mainly active in sculpture and painting.
Condition: Very good, given age. Small remains of attachment to carrier to the rear. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
