Print Description
Crucifixion / Raising of the Cross.
Assembled from 3 plates. By Francois Ragot (active c.1630-1670) after an engraving by Jan Witdoeck after a tryptich painting by Rubens. Published by Chereau in Paris. Originally published c.1650-1670. This is a later ed. on wove paper c.1800. We have not been able to find another copy. Due to it’s size these kind of engravings are very vulnerable.
Sheet size: 123,5 x 60 cm. Trimmed.
