Made by Hendrik Goltzius after own design. Hendrick Goltzius (1558-1617) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman, printmaker and publisher. He was a student of Coornhert. In his early life he was mainly active as engraver. Around 1600 he also started painting.
Condition: Fair, given age. Narrow margins. Mostly small tears at top middle, right top, right bottom, bottom right and left bottom. Larger tear at bottom middle. A few small holes in top part. Loss of part of the text, general traces of use and light surface damage. Shop soiling. Could use restauration. Still an attractive print. Sold waf. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
