Made by Johannes / Jan Visscher (Dutch 1636-c.1692) after Nicolaes Berghem. Nicolaes Pieterszoon Berchem / Berghem (1620-1683) was a highly esteemed and prolific Dutch Golden Age painter of pastoral landscapes, populated with mythological or biblical figures, but also of a number of allegories and genre pieces.
Condition: Good, given age. Small spot upper left. Vertical fold in middle. Remains of manuscript writing at bottom right. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
