Made by Hans Sebald Beham after Barthel Beham. Hans Sebald Beham (1500-1550) was a German printmaker and engraver, as well as painter and miniaturist. He belongs to the group of ‘Little Masters’, German artist printmakers in the generation after Durer. Barthel Beham (1502-1540) was a German painter, engraver and designer of woodcuts, one of the Little Masters. Together with his brother Sebald and Georg Pencz he was banished in 1525 from Nuremberg for his radical political views.

Condition: Very good, given age. Trimmed close to image as is common. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
