From William Sewel’s Dutch translation of William Dampier’s travel logue: ‘Nieuwe Reistogt rondom de Wereld …’ (A New Voyage Round the World), published in Nijmegen by Isaac van Campen, 1771.

Made by Jan Lamsvelt after an anonymous artist. Engraver: Jan van Lamsvelt (Dutch; 1674-1743) mostly worked as engraver for the publisher Van der Aa.

Condition: Very good, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
