Map: ‘Grondtekening der Stad Yperen.’ (Groundplan of Ypres.) This map shows the fortified city of Ypres/Ieper in Belgium. With legend and scale. Taken from ‘Hedendaagsche Historie of Tegenwoordige Staat der Nederlanden’ published in Amsterdam by Tirion, 1738.Artists and Engravers: Isaak Tirion, a Dutch publisher in Amsterdam, was born 1705. He produced serveral Atlases and Dutch town plans. The maps mainly based on those of Guillaume de l’Isle. He died in 1765.

Condition: Excellent. General age related toning and occasional light staining from handling as visible on image.
