Biography engraver: Zorn & Co. was a 19th-century London lithographic printing house specializing in chromolithographs and illustrated decorative prints.

Biography artist: Alfred William Hunt (1830-1896) was a British landscape painter associated with the Pre-Raphaelite movement. A master of atmosphere and botanical detail, he was also a Fellow of Corpus Christi and a contributor to the Illustrated London News.
