a double wall panel decoration design, with two facing portraits, left a female portrait in circular medallion surrounded with cherry (branches and fruit) and a sistrum, on the right a male portrait in circular medallion surrounded with vines and grapes and pipes.
Made by an anonymous engraver after Hippolyte Gruz.
Medium: Colour lithograph on wove (vellin) paper.
Sheet size: 30.1 x 42.7 cm (11.85 x 16.81 inch). Image size: 25.5 x 35.5 cm. (10.04 x 13.98 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Light foxing and some remains of paper tape on rear from previous attachment. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
