Plate 6 from a series of 6 vases: ‘Plusieurs Vaze désinez par G. Charmeton Peintre …’, published by Gerard Audran, Paris, 1676-1703.

Made by N. Robert after G. Charmeton. Nicolas Robert (1614-1685) was a talented and succesful French miniaturist and engraver from Orleans or Langres. Georges Charmeton (1623-1674) was a French painter and ornamentalist.

Condition: Very good, given age. Sheet mostly untrimmed. Small holes in top and left margin from binding General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
