Subject: Antique print, titled: ”[Oncle Claes et Tante Johanna].” – (”Uncle Claes and Aunt Johanna”). A tender etching showing a seated elderly couple.
Condition: Good, given age. Ghosting around the image from previous matting. Remains of attachment to said matting in the top left and right corners. A small stain in the top right margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
Medium: Etching and drypoint with soft ground etching remarque. on laid (verge) paper.
