Made by William Holl after Joshua Reynolds. William Holl, the elder (1771–1838) was an English engraver, thought to be of German background, and a political radical. Joshua Reynolds (1723-1792) was an English painter who was knighted by king George III.

Condition: Good, given age. Trimmed at or near plate mark. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
