Antique print, titled: ‘Strollway Composite & Columbia Composite’ – Two scenes (on a single sheet) showing merchant streets. Both images contain a single figure standing in front of the shopfronts. A hairdresser or woman’s clothing store in both images. Source unknown, to be determined. Signed, titled and numbered (4/50) by the artist, in pencil, below the image.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Agnes W. Crowley’ after own design. Agnes Williams Crowley (American. Tulsa, 1937). She attended Washington University and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art in 1962. In 1976 she trained in printmaking under John Weller, as well as photography and photo-intaglio. She graduated in 1982. She made works in various techniques, including tempera, pencil, pen-and-ink and acrylics.
Condition: Excellent, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
