From: ‘Spiegel om wel te sterven […]’, by David dela Vigne, second ed., published in Amsterdam by Johannes Stichter, 1694. First published in 1673. With the plates by Romeyn de Hooghe. (Transl.: ‘Reflection / mirror for dying correctlty …), which show a man preparing for death accompanied by an emblem in the background relating to Christ’s Passion. Condition: Good, given age. Plate in fine condition. Paper margins with soiling and some staining from handling. Tear at bottom left, backed. Small tear in paper edges. Rear with remains of pencil writing. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
