Medium: Etching on hand laid (verge) paper.

Sheet size: 23.3 x 31.8 cm (9.17 x 12.52 inch). Image size: 21.5 x 30 cm. (8.46 x 11.81 inch).

Condition: good, given age. Some slight browning in places and mild foxing. Several crinkles. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Engraver unknown or to be determined.

Biography artist: Famiano Strada (1572 ? 6 September 1649) was an Italian Jesuit and historian of wars in the low countries (Belgium and Netherlands) during the early part of the Eighty Years’ War, starting with the abdication of Charles V in 1556 to the capture of Rheinsberg in 30 January 1590.
