Antique print, titled: ‘Mr. Rhijnvis Feith.’ – Portrait of the poet Rhijnvis Feith. Source unknown, to be determined. Ref: FMP 1653.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Philippus Velijn’ after ‘Jan Willem Caspari’. Philippus Velijn (1786-1836) originated from Leiden. He was a pupil of Abraham Delfos. He later worked in Amsterdam and Paris as a professional engraver.  Jan Willem Caspari (Dutch. 1779-1822) worked in Amsterdam. He was a pupil of Portman and Claessens and worked as a reproductive engraver.

Condition: Good, given age. Margins cropped to the image border. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
