This is an original antique print of the moment before the Ascension, engraved by Antony Wierx, (one of the engravers who supported Johann Wierx or Wierix) from Nadal”s “Adnotationes et Meditationes in Evangelia (“Notes and Meditations on the Gospels”). The back ground shows the Ascension. This rare, original copper engraving was printed in 1707 and is in fine condition. The text of this genuine print is in Latin. The overall size is 12 inch x 8 inch.
