Made by ‘Jacobus Houbraken’ after ‘Philip van Dijk’. Jacobus Houbraken (1698-1780) was a Dutch engraver, and the son of Arnold Houbraken (who wrote a seminal record of the lives of Dutch artists). Philip van Dijk (1683-1753) was a very popular society portrait painter.

Condition: Good, given age. Light soiling. Some remanins of paper on rear from previous attachment. Top right corner a bit thin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
