– Cut-out from the broadside commemorating the Peace of Breda (1667). Central scene only: The English and Dutch delegations gathered around a table, swearing an oath upon the peace treaty signed at Breda on 31 July 1667, ratified 24 August. Above, Peace is personified as a crowned figure with palm branch and laurel, flanked by two trumpeting angels. Removed from the larger sheet, which originally included surrounding vignettes of sea battles, peace celebrations, and proclamations.
