Kaub (old spelling: Caub) is a town in Germany, located on the right bank of the Rhine, Kaub is known for the castle Pfalz, or Burg Pfalzgrafenstein, shown in the center of the image. Source unknown, to be determined.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Otto Edmund Gunther’ after ‘Kraus’. Otto Edmund Gunther (1838-1884) as a German artist/caricaturist. We have been unable to further identify the artist.

Condition: Good, given age. Remains of tape from previous attachment on rear. Some small stains in margin, not affecting image. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
