Etching on thick laid paper. Watermark: van Gelder & zonen.
Sheet size: 34 x 49 cm. (13,4 x 19,3 inch). Image size: 17 x 29 cm. (6,7 x 11,4 inch).

Blindstamed mark ‘Aquaf. Belges’ in the lower right margin.

Made by ‘Jean van den Acker’ after own design. Jean van den Acker lived and worked in Brussel, Belgium. Painter, engraver en watercoulorist, member of Societé des Aquafortistes Belges. Exposition Triennale Anvers in 1901. (see Paul Piron).

Condition: Good, given age. Upper left corner stained, left margin browned (not affecting image). Two small stains just outside the top right image corner. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
