Biography engraver: Dirk Jurriaan Sluyter (1811-1886) was a lithographer, engraver, etcher and draughtsman from Amsterdam.
Biography artist: Bastiaan de Poorter (1813-1880) studied at the Academy in The Hague. He later worked in several places in the Netherlands as a painter.
