Didactylus (Two toed Sloth), 3. Myrmecophaga Didactyla (Two toed or Little Ant eater), M. Tetra Dactyla (Four toed Ant eater), 5. M. Jubata (Great Ant eater), 6. Ornythorinchus Paradoxys (Duck-billed Ornythorinchus). This original antique print originates from Rees’ ‘The Cyclopaedia. or, Universal Dictionary opf Arts, Sciences and Literature’. This important 19th-century encyclopedic work was published in serialized form from 1802 to 1820. Condition: Very good, given age, tiny spot of paper erosion in the center of the image, thumbing to the lower margin. General age-related toning and mild foxing. Please study scan carefully.
