Part Vermes. Plate VII, Order Mollusca titled: Genus Onchidium, g. Laplisia, g. Doris, g. Aphrodita. It shows: 1. O. Typhae (Indian O.), 2. L. Depilans (Sea-Hare), 3. D. Argo (Sea-Lemon), 4. D. Radiata (Radiated D.), 5. D. Papillosa (Papillous D.), 6. A. aculeata (Sea-Mouse), 7. A. Squamata (Scaly Sea-Mouse). This original antique print originates from Rees’ ‘The Cyclopaedia. or, Universal Dictionary opf Arts, Sciences and Literature’. This important 19th-century encyclopedic work was published in serialized form from 1802 to 1820. Condition: Very good, given age, left margin cropped short with minimal loss of image. General age-related toning and mild foxing. Please study scan carefully.
