Part Ornithology. Plate I of order Anseres, Divn. 2d. Water Birds, order 3rd. titled: Genus Anas (Swan). It shows: 1. A. Atrata (Black Swan), 2. A. Olot (Tame S.), 3. A. Cygnoides (Chinese Goose), 4. A. Gambensis (Spur-Winged G.). This original antique print originates from Rees’ ‘The Cyclopaedia. or, Universal Dictionary opf Arts, Sciences and Literature’. This important 19th-century encyclopedic work was published in serialized form from 1802 to 1820.
