Antique print, titled: ‘Honneur au courage malheureux.’ – This print shows Napoleon honouring the unlucky courageous (i.e. wounded soldiers returning home from the war). Probably a variation to the set: “Victoires et Conquetes” by Victor Adam, printed and published by Charles Motte in 1822. At the time these sets were very popular.Artists and Engravers: Made by an anonymous engraver after ‘Victor Adam’.

Condition: Excellent, given age. Creases in all margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
