Made by ‘J.C. Zurcher’ after ‘B. van Hove’. Johannes Cornelis Zurcher (1794-1882) was a Dutch engraver from Amsterdam, like his father Antoni Zurcher (1755-1837). He produced many school maps and atlases. Bartholomeus-Johannes van Hove (1790-1880) was a Dutch architecture and genre painter from The Hague. He was a pupil of Broekenheymer. Condition: Good, given age. Light soiling near paper edges. Left paper edges a bit rough from binding. Very light creasing from handling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
