Made by ‘J.A. Bemme’ after ‘B. van Hove’. Johannes Adriaansz. Bemme (1775-1841) was a Dutch designer and etcher active in Rotterdam. He was also active in the very early years of the lithography. He was a student of his father, Hauck and D. Langendijk. Bartholomeus-Johannes van Hove (1790-1880) was a Dutch architecture and genre painter from The Hague. He was a pupil of Broekenheymer. Condition: Good, given age. Light soiling near paper edges. Light staining. Left paper edges a bit rough from binding. Very light creasing from handling. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
