Original lithographed print, captioned: Tafel 75: “Bootsmanover”. Sailors exiting a life boat tethered to the side of a warship. This original print originates from an unknown book, published by Paul Kittel (Berlin). The plate was printed by Otto Sch�fer. Artists and Engravers: Stower, Willy (1864�1931): a German artist, illustrator, author and professor during the Imperial Period. He is best known for nautical paintings and lithographs. Many of his works depict historical maritime events such as the sinking of the RMS Titanic in 1912.

Condition: Good, given age. A tiny nick in the right margin, and two in the left margin (backed with acid-free archival tape). Bottom left corner creased. Stains in the lower margin. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
