This is an original antique print of ‘The Inspection’ , one of the “Mariage a la Mode” series ,engraved by Carl Rahl after Hogarth. This antique copper engraving was printed between 1818-1823, published by Carl Armbruster and is in fine condition, except for some minor discoloring between plate and plate mark (left-lower margin) and a spot of the lower margin. The overall size is 12,5 x 10 inch. The image size is 9 x 7 inch.
