Print Description
This print shows a view of the castle, manor Nasby, Naesby, located in Taby, north of Stockholm in Sweden. The castle was build in 1660 and has been detroyed by fire in 1897. In front we see people walking and several ships on the water.

Medium: Engraving / etching on hand laid (verge) paper.

Condition: good, given age. Some creases. Brown stains. Brown edge. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Willem Swidde (Amsterdam ca. 1660-1697 Stockholm) was a Dutch engraver and draughtsman, active in Sweden, working with Erik Dahlbergh.
