Original print, titled: ‘A. Profil van de dregterlandsche zeeweering, aan den Noorderdyk, behoorende onder enkhuysen. – B. [Idem] behoorende onder bovenkarspel’. It shows: two sections of the same dyke/levee, the Dregterlandse Zeewering. Both sections include details on parts of the levee washed away by a flash flood in 1775. Exact source unknown, to be determined. Ca. 1790.Artists and Engravers: By an unknown engraver after an unknown artist.

Condition: Excellent, given age. Original folds, as issued. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
