Made by P. Velijn after H.W. Caspari.

Medium: Stipple engraving on wove paper.

Sheet size: 13.3 x 21.7 cm (5.24 x 8.54 inch). Image size: 9.6 x 14.5 cm. (3.78 x 5.71 inch).

Condition: good, given age. A few small spots in the margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

Biography engraver: Philippus Velijn (1786-1836) originated from Leiden. He was a pupil of Abraham Delfos. He later worked in Amsterdam and Paris as a professional engraver. .

Biography artist: Hendrik Willem Caspari (1770-1829) worked in Amsterdam.
