Made by Jan Baptist Kobell after Smit. Johannes Baptist Kobell (1778-1814) originated from Delftshaven. He was a son of the painter Hendrik Kobell. Kobell moved to Utrecht, where he specialised in animal depiction.

Condition: Good, given age. A few tiny spots. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
