Condition: excellent, given age. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.

BACKGROUND INFORMATION
This plate originates from: ‘Florilegium Amplissimum et Selectissimum.’ by Emanuel Sweerts, published by Anthonius Kempner, Frankfurt, 1612. Later editions exist. This specific edition unknown, but 17th c. Valuable, very rare. Artists and Engravers: Author: Emanuel Sweerts (1552-1612). Engravers: Several unidentified engravers.
