Plate: ‘Honorat de Bueil Marq.’ Portrait of Honorat de Bueil, seigneur de Racan (1589 – 1670). He was a French aristocrat, soldier, poet, dramatist and (original) member of the Academie francaise. This old antique master print originates from an unknown source published ca. 1735. Our definition of a Master Print is a seperately published print or series of prints, not being an illustrative print to a text.
