Antique print, titled: ‘Austriacis atrox Solymna [..].’ – Parade of Charles V and Ferdinand after the liberation of Vienna in 1532. Source unknown, to be determined. Ref: Hollstein 150.Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Cornelis Boel’ after ‘Antonio Tempesta’. Cornelis Boel (1576-1621). Antonio Tempesta (ca. 1555-1630) was a Rome born artist, who specialised in etchings. His prints with hunting scenes, biblical matter etc. attracted great popularity in the early 17th. Century and were copied widely. His prints were sought after.

Condition: Very good, given age. Small margins. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
