Description: Illustration to an unknown book. Ref: FMH 4051.

Artists and Engravers: Made by ‘Jan Caspar Philips’ after own design. Jan Caspar Philips (1690-1775) was an engraver. He was born in Germany, but settled in Amsterdam, where he became the teacher of his nephew Caspar Philips and (in 1725), the engraver Simon Fokke.
