BACKGROUND INFORMATION

From: Fokke, Jan. Geschiedenissen der Vereenigde Nederlanden voor de vaderlandsche jeugd Ie-XXVste deel. Amsterdam: Johannes Allart, 1783-1795.

Biography engraver: Reinier Vinkeles (1741 ? 1816) was an 18th-century painter and engraver from the Northern Netherlands, who was the teacher of several talented artists.
