Plate: ‘Haarlem – l’ Eglise St. Bavon et la Boucherie.’ (The Sint Bavo Church and the Butcher’s in Haarlem , The Netherlands.) This attractive original antique print originates from: ‘La Hollande a vol d’Oiseau.’, (tranl.: The Netherlands from a birds flight.) by Henry Havard, Paris by G. Decaux and A. Quantin in 1882. Artists and Engravers: Author: Henry Havard (1838-1921). Artist / etcher Maxime Lalanne. François Antoine Maxime Lalanne (1827 – 1886) was a French artist known for his etchings and charcoal drawings (fusain).
Condition: Excellent. General age related toning and foxing, mostly in margins and rear. Stain left upper. Please study scan carefully.
