Made by Ludwig Buchhorn after an anonymous artist. Ludwig Buchhorn (Halberstadt 1770 – Berlin 1856) was a German painter and engraver. He was taught at the Academy of the Arts in Berlin, where he studied aquatint, lithography and crayon style lithogrpahy. He became the master of the Academy from 1823.
Condition: Good, given age. Very light foxing and light soiling, mainly visible outside image. A few crinkles. Attached to carrier paper.. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
