Made by ‘Jacob Gole’ after own design. Jacob Gole (ca. 1660-1737) belonged to a group of French refugees who came to the Northern Netherlands in the end of the 17th. Century. He worked in close collaboartion with Cornelis Dusart and specialized in the making of mezzotints.
Condition: Fair, given age. Small margins. Some paper loss top right, backed. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
