(1. Brown Ferret-badger, 2. Brown Hyena, is a species of hyena which occurs in Namibia, Botswana, western and southern Zimbabwe, southern Mozambique and South Africa.)
Made by an anonymous engraver after Pierre Auguste Joseph Drapiez (1778-1856).
Engraving with original hand colouring, heightened with arabic gum on wove (vellin) paper.
Sheet size: 17 x 26.5 cm (6.69 x 10.43 inch).
Condition: good, given age. Overall light browning. Light text ghosting. General age-related toning and/or occasional minor defects from handling. Please study scan carefully.
